The AccessPRO system with the PGT120 and the FastPass turnstile tests personnel grounding devices, logs test data and user IDs and controls access to an ESD protected area.
The PGT120 personnel grounding tester with the FastPass turnstile verifies the functionality of an operator’s wrist strap, ESD footwear or ESD jacket and only allows access through the turnstile with a PASS test.
The system has the following features:
- ESD Product Testing
- Electronics Data Acquisition
- User Identification
- Reporting and Software
- FastPass Turnstile
ESD Product Testing
The PGT120 tests the operators path-to-ground and indicates that the wrist strap and footwear are functioning properly with green lights and the turnstile allows passage through. Red lights, an audible alarm indicate that the grounding products are failing and should be replaced. A failed test denies access to the ESD protected area.
The measuring voltage is preset to 100volts for superior accuracy but can be adjusted to either 30volts or 50volts. The testing unit operates with 3 independent measuring circuits so the wrist strap, left foot and right foot can be tested at the same time or turned off completely. The footwear upper limit can be adjusted to 20M, 35M, 70M or 100M. The shoes can even be measured in a hands-free mode which means that the staff members are tested automatically when standing on the plate.
Electronic Data Acquisition
All operator test activity is logged into a database to meet the ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements for on-going quality control purposes. The database consists of operator identification, test results, resistance measurements, time, temperature and humidity. Internal memory can hold up to a months worth of test data in case a network failure were to occur. The Operator identification and access control is initiated with a RFID card, barcode scanner or keypad
Reporting and Software
All testing data can be accessed via a Web Interface from any computer on the same network. The DataTERM software allows for central data maintenance of up to 32 testing stations in an SQLite database.
The AccessPRO 100 offers three operator identification methods: RFID reader, barcode scanner or keypad. The system can work with most USB connected HID components so existing company systems may be used with the tester.
FastPass Waist High Turnstile
The USA made FastPass turnstiles are designed for years of reliable service in high traffic/volume applications. Thousands are currently in use in factories, pro-sports venues, amusement parks and high-profile attractions worldwide. The cabinets are constructed of heavy 14-guage, 300 series satin stainless steel with minimal exposed hardware.
6500 Series Control Head
The turnstile features the 6500 Series Control Head that is auto-indexing (self-centering), with adjustable hydraulic shock suppression, permanently lubricated bearing and nearly universal integration to any number of access control systems.
The FastPass Turnstile is manufactured by Controlled Access. For over 30 years, Controlled Access has been the professional’s turnstile authority and the globally trusted name in pedestrian control devices. Made in Ohio and shipped worldwide, if you need a turnstile, they have one for you!
The PGT120 is an easy to use and complete test station for ESD shoes and wrist straps.
The personnel grounding tester is able to perform a quick and accurate control measurement of the ESD protection. The test results are indicated both with audible and visual signals. The PGT120 measures the left and right shoe separately.
Verification and Calibration:
The PGT AccessPRO comes factory calibrated and with a calibration certificate. Calibration can be tested and verified with the PGT120.CU resistor box.
